LOS ANGELES -- .Despite the absence of visible activity in the Painseeker Murder Trial, rumors circulated through Los Angeles Superior Court that the fate of accused murderer Laura Douglass may already be decided and that the jury has agreed to sleep on their decision before announcing a verdict on Wednesday.

While a source close to the trial has stated that the jury is "90% to 95%" certain of their verdict, the attorneys in the case remain speculative.

"I don't believe courthouse sources that don't have names, " warned Assistant District Attorney Thomas Andrews, "Too many times they only have their own interests in mind.  Like making news."

Defense attorney Les Levin was more diplomatic, "If that is the case [that the jury is sleeping on their decision], it means that they still have lingering doubts.  Then we have no more reason to assume we'll hear a verdict tomorrow than we would any other day."

Regardless, the jury will continue deliberations on Wednesday, when the rumor will either be confirmed or ignored.
