Note:  All questions posted on this page are posted in chronological order by the date they were received.

Question 1 - June 10, 2001 - Carly Everett from Westminster, MD asked, "If Raychel did not like the way she was being managed, why didn't she leave? Surely she knew that Kyle was not the only manager in the business."

Response 1: Kyle was not just a manager to Raychel. Kyle was the musician who brought Raychel from poetry to the world of music. There are those who differ on that fact; however, I know this to be the case because I asked her point blank about her relationship with him. They never actually had a real manager. Since they were already signed to Terror Trax before they had a manager, Kyle convinced Raychel that they did not need one. The combination of Kyle McAllister and Ken Kincaid served as a de-facto manager. Kyle took control of her music (until I came onto the scene) and Ken Kincaid was responsible for promoting Raychel’s music. Ken only had a couple of opportunities to perform his duties, and both of them turned out badly. Perhaps that was why Raychel stayed with Kyle.

Question 2 - June 12, 2001 - Anis Nin from Mariville, NE asked, "Can you give your whereabouts at the time of Raychel's death? You also stated you believed Ken Kincaid was dangerous, what brought you to that statement?"

Response 2: On the night of Raychel’s murder, I spent the night with a close friend of mine. I don’t think it would be prudent to divulge my whereabouts any further. I made my statement to the police already, and they have accepted it without apparent question.

Yes, Ken Kincaid is dangerous. Rather than give you further accusations, I will dedicate a significant portion of my time on this site to exposing Ken Kincaid for what he really is.

Question 3 - June 12, 2001 - Carly Everett from Westminster, MD asked, "What did you think about Lance's insistence on Raychel and his marriage being secret? Why? What is he hiding?"

Response 3: I think Lance Wagner is hiding the fact that he was never married to Raychel. Fortunately, he is doing it very poorly.

Question 4 - June 13, 2001 - Chrisindi Midell from California asked, "I am told that you knew Raychel in the beginning of February of 2000 until her death. Can you tell me if there was any sign of actual physical abuse on any of the days you saw Raychel, mainly during June that year?"

Response 4: There was no question that Raychel had been beaten badly in June of 2000 by Kyle McAllister. That was the main reason why our recording sessions stopped. There were previous times when she had been beaten by him, but neither she nor Sharon made much mention of it.

Question 5 - June 18, 2001 - Carly Everett from Westminster, MD asked, "What did you think of Kyle supposedly stopping Raychel's heroin addiction? How did he do it? (Heroin is very hard to stop doing.) What about Ken's addiction? How rational can he be when he is high on heroin? Any odd behavior around the time of Raychel’s murder while he was on heroin?"

Response 5: I was not aware of Ken Kincaid’s addiction to heroin. Is that true? It would explain a lot about his behavior in general. I guess when you see the music business stereotype played out enough, you tend to blind yourself to it.

"They needed to understand what it took to professionally record. While Raychel was more willing, it was Kyle’s cooperation which was required and never came."

As for Kyle stopping Raychel’s addiction, I’m not certain how he did it. Knowing his personality as I do, I worry about what method he would use. I can tell you that it didn’t work perfectly. However, I would like to say that I am always in favor of someone getting off of junk. I know that Raychel’s life was built by pain, but pain cannot be relieved through needles -- no matter what the doctor says.

Question 6 - July 23, 2001 - Brian Doran from Rochester, NY asked, "Do you have much of a social life or because you are a creature of habit you find that flexibility too difficult to deal with? What were you doing on the night of Raychel's death?"

Response 6: For the first question, I assume you are speaking of Kyle McAllister’s accusation (from “A Day in Hell”) that my “inflexibility” caused the breakdown of my recording sessions with Raychel. I remind you that the reason Raychel cancelled the sessions in June was because of a severe beating she suffered at the hands of Kyle McAllister. I think she responded out of fear of him. Wouldn’t you?

To directly confront your question, I am not an inflexible person. I followed my protocols because I was trying to acclimate Raychel and Kyle to recording in a studio, as neither had significant or sufficient previous experience. They needed to understand what it took to professionally record. While Raychel was more willing, it was Kyle’s cooperation which was required and never came. Had Kyle come with more recording experience, I would have provided a less structured setting.

In the end, what did Kyle learn from me? Nothing, and that is his loss. His secret recordings with Raychel bear that out. I have heard some of them. The sound quality is average at best and the music is loose and filled with errors. It sounds like a live album from inside a phone booth. Frampton calls collect.

As for the second question, I will provide a detailed answer shortly. In the meantime, I can tell you that (after the problem at Terror Trax) I spent most of the evening with Sharon Wolfe.

Question 7 - September 26, 2001 - Julie from IL asked, "Sharon said she was going to tell the police everything...did that include you hiring her to be Raychel's bodyguard?  How long have you known Sharon?  How deep is your relationship, with the I love you, it seems to be pretty close?  Do you remember why you drank so heavily the night of Raychel's murder?  And why the fact that you and Sharon went out, why would Raychel's bodyguard take you out?  There wasn't any mention of this being out of the ordinary."

Response 7:  Sharon wouldn’t say that I hired her to be Raychel’s bodyguard because I believe Sharon would tell the truth that I did not hire her.  Sharon is a special person.  For a brief time, I thought Sharon and I had something special together (love might have been premature when I said it) but any hope of that is gone now.  We never went out together after Raychel’s murder.  It was painful to see Sharon after that day.  She also isn’t the same person she was then.  She used to be this really interesting person who kept all of these beautiful emotions and insights hidden beneath this tough exterior.  I don’t think she’s found that in herself since Raychel died.  Or maybe she won’t let anyone see it anymore, not even me.  We only dated for a month or so, but I know it could have been something special.

As to why I drank so heavily the night of Raychel’s murder, I was pissed off.  I had lost control at Terror Trax during my argument with Kyle.  I regret it, but please understand it wasn’t just that they went into the studio behind my back.  Remember, Kyle second-guessed and stalled the whole recording process the first time so that I couldn’t make any progress.  I believe that he was trying to get me removed from the project so he could do what he wanted.  He got his way and that was what really drove me over.

Question 8 - October 17, 2001 - Monroe from California asked, "You said you recall being at Safehaven on the night of Raychel's murder, can you tell me if Laura ever stayed out of sight for longer than say, 20 minutes?"

Response 8:  I honestly don’t know because I was too busted up to be certain. I can tell you that she wasn’t in front of me the whole time, but maybe she was just busy running the bar.

Question 9 - October 17, 2001 - Monroe from California asked, "Do you know what time Safehaven normally closes, if you know?"

Response 9:  Safehaven, like most LA bars, closes at around 2 AM, but it has been known to close early on Laura’s whim or if business isn’t there that day.

Question 10 - October 17, 2001 - Monroe from California asked, "What is the distance from Safehaven to Kyle's apt, a time frame to drive there would be very helpful if you have any idea?"

Response 10:  Safehaven is only about ten minutes from Kyle’s apartment.

Question 11 - October 17, 2001 - Monroe from California asked, "You also stated you remembered the drive home from Safehaven on that night as well and that Sharon drove you because you were too smashed to drive yourself. Can you recall any stops she made or if she ever got out of the car, was there ever an odd moment of silence on your drive between the two of you during this particular event?"

Response 11:  I said I fell asleep in the car so I don’t know what happened after we had been in the car for a while. If you are getting at the possibility that Sharon stopped off at Kyle’s and killed Raychel, I would have to say that I don’t think it could have happened because I didn’t fall asleep immediately in the car. We would have arrived there sooner than it took for me to fall asleep.

Question 12 - October 17, 2001 - Monroe from California asked, "Can you tell me also, if there is in fact a place called W Los Angeles hotel or motel and if you know how far this place is from Kyle's apt?"

Response 12:  I am familiar with the W chain and after looking it up I can tell you it’s about a half hour to forty-five minutes driving time from Kyle’s apartment depending on traffic.

Question 13 - November 27, 2001 - Christina from Evansville, IN asked, "In the past, you have had only nice things to say about Sharon Wolfe. What are your feelings on her now? I realize you no longer have romantic feelings for her, but, do you think that she used you for an alibi on the night of Raychel's murder? If so, why would she need one? Do you feel that it's possible that she and Ken murdered Raychel and tried to frame you? Do you believe this is something Ken is capable of? If so, how do you feel? Sorry to be so harsh, but, if these things are true, we need to be hard to get to the truth."

"I have stated before that I feel Ken Kincaid lacks the fortitude to murder someone, but (and it pains me to write it) Sharon working with him makes him a very deadly person."

Response 13:  I appreciate your “harsh” tone. It feels like an antidote after what I’ve been through. One can see only so many two-faced people.

While I thought I understood that Sharon got me drunk to keep me out of harm’s way after the argument with Kyle, I do not believe that any longer. If Laura is to be trusted, and I do trust her, then (in light of Sharon’s previous statements) Sharon has used me as an alibi. The only question left is why? I didn’t think our relationship could become more defiled, but there it is for you. I doubt she ever had any feelings for me in the first place. After reading the psychic’s article, I wonder if Raychel ordered Sharon to get in a relationship with me.

I do not believe that Ken and Sharon tried to frame me, since my very public drunken state that evening makes me probably the least likely suspect. I have stated before that I feel Ken Kincaid lacks the fortitude to murder someone, but (and it pains me to write it) Sharon working with him makes him a very deadly person. Capable of murder by himself? No. With help? Maybe. Slander laws keep me from speaking my complete mind.

Question 14 - December 19, 2001 - Monica in New Albany, IN asked, "After reading your "Day in Replay" once more, I found that I had overlooked something. You stated: "I rolled off the bed, started to grab my clothes, and dropped them again. Better to show up in fresh clothes than yesterday's rumpled outfit. I briefly considered burning those clothes. Bad luck never washes out. Worse, it spreads in the laundry." But then a few paragraphs down you wrote, "She (Sharon) flopped me on the bed. That's when I saw the clock for the last time that night. It was 12:23 a.m. Sharon looked down on me and said, "I'll be back in a minute." I dropped off to sleep and everything changed in an hour."  What troubles me is there is no indication whatsoever that you ever undressed yourself, nor that Sharon undressed you...yet your clothes were on the floor when you awoke. What do have to say about this?"

Response 14:  I must have undressed myself in my drunken-sleep state since I was alone after Sharon left. I think I would have remembered if Sharon had undressed me.
