Note:  All questions posted on this page are posted in chronological order by the date they were received.

Question 1 - August 7, 2001 -  Carly from Westminster, MD asked, "How do you know Raychel?"

Response 1:  I know Raychel from Terror Trax. I worked there as a janitor until the day Raychel died. We talked about her music. She recorded with Geoffrey and Kyle first. Then it was just with Kyle but Geoffrey did not know about that then. When he found out he got mad. After the fight the day Raychel died, I had to leave Terror Trax. I was not fired.

Question 2 - September 10, 2001 - Christina from Evansville, IN asked, "Welcome to America!! I do have a couple of questions for you if you don't mind. Since leaving Terror Trax, what have you been doing? Are you working at this time? Are there any plans for you to go into the record business? Any contracts or anything? Just wondering."

Response 2: I have no plans to be in the record business now. I cannot stay in a band because of my English. I would like to find other people like me to make a band but it is hard. Now I work at the same place I did after I left Terror Trax. I am a janitor for the Los Angeles office of Cain International.

Question 3 - September 26, 2001- Julie from IL asked, "I do not mean to bother you but were you scared of something?  I mean why did you quit your job at Terror Trax?  Someone said it was because you were scared of what Geoffrey would do to you.  What do you think he would do to you?  Why?  Do you know who killed Raychel?  Were you and Raychel more than friends?  Did you make love to her?  Were you jealous of Raychel?  Did you want Raychel to be more than your friend?  Did you kill Raychel on accident when you came to her apartment and you couldn't get her to listen to you so you got mad and...it was an accident so you won't get into trouble.  It was an accident and the police need to know.  Did you kill Raychel?"

Response 3:  I hope you are the lawyer who defends Raychel’s killer. “It was an accident so you won’t get into trouble?”  It is murder.  If the person who killed Raychel uses you then we will keep that person in prison for a long time.  I do not write well in English.  That is why I write like this.  I am not stupid and I did not kill Raychel.  I did not make love to Raychel.  That was other people.  Raychel and I were friends.  We loved music together.

I quit Terror Trax because if I worked for Geoffrey after that day, I knew he would do things to get me fired or worse.  I am trying to become a citizen and if I got in bad trouble I could have problems staying in America.  I did not want to lose that chance so I took Mr. Kincaid’s offer to work at Cain International.  I am not scared of Geoffrey hitting me because I am too big for him to hurt me.  I was scared that he would get me in trouble for helping Mr. Kincaid hide Kyle and Raychel when they worked at Terror Trax without Geoffrey knowing.

Question 4 - October 17, 2001- Monroe from California asked, "Can you give us an alibi for the night of Rachel's death, and the following day? Also can you tell us when you learned of Raychel's passing and how?"

Response 4:  After the fight by Kyle and Geoffrey, I went with Mr. Kincaid to his office. I told him I must quit Terror Trax to keep Geoffrey from making problems for me. Mr. Kincaid did not want me to quit but I told him that Geoffrey would make trouble for me that I did not want. He understood and told me he would find new work for me because I was a good person. I thanked him but told him that I was the cause that Geoffrey learned about Lance and Raychel’s secret recordings. For that I felt bad. I told him I wished I could talk to Raychel and Kyle and let them know I was sorry for not stopping Geoffrey. Mr. Kincaid said that it would be nice because I would not get to see them much if I did not work at Terror Trax anymore. I asked him if he knew where I could find Kyle and Raychel and he gave me the address to their apartment. I left work for the last time maybe 7:30.

It took me some time to find their apartment and when I got there I almost got into a car accident. A mean black car came out of the parking lot when I came in and just missed hitting me and my car. I parked and went up to the apartment and knocked on the door. Kyle was not there but Raychel was. I told her I was sorry about failing her and Kyle. She said it was going to happen sometime but I did not make it bad. Kyle made it bad by fighting with Geoffrey. I told her I was quitting Terror Trax because of Geoffrey and that made her sad. I went to leave but she did not want me to go. She asked me if I wanted to talk about music some so we did. It lasted until 10 at night. After that I went straight home.

The next day I called Mr. Kincaid to ask about him helping me find a job. He asked me if I knew about Raychel. I told him that I told her I quit last night when I went to see her. He told me not to tell anyone else that because Raychel was murdered. I told him that I did not do it. He said he believed me because he thought he knew who did do it. He didn’t tell me who but he did tell me who to see at Cain International and I went there and got a job as a janitor there.

So my alibi is I was with Raychel but she was alive when I saw her.

Question 5 - October 24, 2001- Monroe from California asked, "You stated and I quote “I thanked him but told him that I was the cause that Geoffrey learned about Lance and Raychel’s secret recordings.” There seems to be a name in that line that doesn’t belong. That name is Lance. Now I’m trying to figure out why that name is in that line because it doesn’t make much sense with him involved, but I am thinking that maybe... you saw Lance that day or somehow know of Lance beyond this web site. It was my understanding that you didn’t know of Lance and Lance didn’t know of you but I am wondering if maybe you seen him, met him that day or soon after? Did you perhaps see Lance the night you visited Raychel? Or overhear something about him? I am just curious why that name slipped out when and where it did?"

Response 5:  Saying Lance was my bad. It was probably because I am angry at him about being Raychel’s real husband. You are right that I did not know him then, but I do know him now. Ever since I have been writing here, Lance has been calling me to ask me about Raychel and Geoffrey and Kyle and Ken and me and Terror Trax. He says that he wants to know what was going on when Raychel and Kyle and Geoffrey were recording. I have not told him anything about that because I don’t want to help him with his book. I don’t want to help him because he was a bad husband to Raychel.

Question 6 - October 24, 2001- Monroe from California asked, "I am hoping that since you were at Raychel’s house soon before she was murdered you can help put some pieces together and we can find the person who did this. First you said that you left at or just around 10pm and you stated that you went straight home also and, whereas I do not question that I do question the possibility that you might of seen something. Sometimes people notice small things and it doesn’t even register how crucial they can be in matters such as this. So what I need you to do is think back to the night as you were leaving Raychel and Kyle’s apartment and just give me a number of things you seen that seem to stick out in your mind. Sort of walk me through if you will what exit route you took, things you passed, what you noticed around your exit, anything that sticks out in your mind that seemed normal, odd, out of place...anything. Just take your time and even if you can’t think of it right now put the pressure out of mind and if then you still can’t think of anything just keep it in the back of your mind and maybe later on you can write back to me about what you remember. This is very important Sergei, and so I thank you for taking the time to hear me."

Response 6:  Because you want a lot of details (and since you say it is important) I will write about this very soon in my next article.

Question 7 - December 6, 2001 - Monroe from Huntington Beach, CA asked, "After so much talk about Raychel’s death and what we know after the fact, do you have any thoughts on what other people didn't know that perhaps you did about Raychel? Any happy thoughts circle around you when you think of her, such as if she smoked...a funny joke she shared with you, one of her most embarrassing moments she shared with you, her favorite book, music artist? Anything in that nature?"

Response 7:  You are a very nice person. Thank you for asking that question. Everyone asks everyone about the murder so it is nice to talk about Raychel alive.

"She complained that Mr. McAllister and Mr. MacIntyre never listened to her about music. She said they only wanted her words so they could have their music."

You were right that she smoked. She used it to come see me when Mr. MacIntyre and Mr. McAllister were fighting. That was when we would talk. Sometimes she would bring things to our conversations. That was something you wanted to know about. What she liked. She would sometimes read things to me from poets she liked. She really liked Anne Sexton and Sylvia Plath. I still have Raychel’s copy of Ariel. I do not like it much, but I keep it as a memory of Raychel. Raychel’s favorite poem was Anne Sexton’s “The Truth The Dead Know.” I think it made her think of her parents, even though she did not like them.

We talked more about music. She complained that Mr. McAllister and Mr. MacIntyre never listened to her about music. She said they only wanted her words so they could have their music. She said that Mr. McAllister wanted her to be the next Tori Amos and Mr. MacIntyre wanted her to be the next Moby. She just wanted to be herself. Sing songs about herself and see what happened. She said they did not want to help her do that so she did not help them. She said that if they would not listen to her she would not help either one of them. She said she liked to see them fight with each other. She must have liked it a lot because they did it all of the time.

I remember when she played “No More Dreams No More” for me. This was before they stopped recording the first time. She told me to stay around because she would come back and show me something. I waited at work for an hour and she came back without Sharon. She took me to the studio where they worked and played the song for me. It was different from the first time I heard it. Before it was as two different songs. One was done by Mr. McAllister and one was done by Mr. MacIntyre. But now it sounded like something between the two. Raychel said it was our version because after I told them what I thought of the song they changed it. Raychel laughed after I left then and they changed the song so that it had the best of both parts. That was my best memory of her. The rest I do not think you would understand. She cared about me. I do not mean that she loved me. That would be wrong. I mean she cared what happened to me. That is why I am here now. I care about what happened to her and I want to see the person who killed her punished.

Question 8 - February 24, 2002 - Ken Kincaid from Los Angeles, CA asked, "One question about Geoffrey MacIntyre's affair with Raychel . . . Did you ever catch the two of them in a compromising position at Terror Trax?"

Response 8: Twice.

Question 9 - February 25, 2002 - Kelly from AZ asked, "Sergei, your response to Ken was extremely brief. Could you give a more detailed response, please?  Also, you have stated in a previous article that you had to quit Terror Trax because Geoffrey could make trouble for you.  What kind of trouble?  It's not like he could get you deported or fire you - what could he do to you?"

Response 9: I meant there were two times in May of 2000 when I saw Mr. MacIntyre and Raychel having sex at Terror Trax when I was working there.  I did not try to follow them.  I would go into an office that was empty but it was not.  They were having sex in it.  Raychel asked me not to tell Kyle McAllister and I did that because I did not like him much anyway.  Mr. MacIntyre told me not to tell Mr. Kincaid, but I told him because he was never nice to me and Mr. Kincaid was.  That is another reason why I had to quit Terror Trax.  I am not a citizen of the U.S. but I am trying to be and I do not want an enemy like Mr. MacIntyre trying to hurt my chances of staying here.  If I stayed at Terror Trax, I think he would try to get me into trouble with the law and I do not want that so I left to work at Cain International.  It is not as much fun and I miss being around musicians but at least I am safe there.

"I believe you are an intelligent man using your situation to be intentionally vague."

Question 10 - March 18, 2002 - Kelly from AZ asked, "How could MacIntyre get you in trouble with the law? If you refrain from illegal activity, how could he cause trouble? Did he have some "dirt" on you? I know English is your second language, but I believe you are an intelligent man using your situation to be intentionally vague."

Response 10: Thank you for telling me that I am smart but you are wrong that I am hiding something.  Mr. MacIntyre is a powerful man.  I do not mean he is strong because he is not.  When I worked at Terror Trax he laughed at me once and told me that if he needed to he could get me thrown out of the country.  He said he had friends who could do it.  After the fight that night I knew he was mad and I knew I had to get a new job or he would get me thrown out of the country.  He does not have "dirt" on me because I have done nothing wrong but I fear him because I should.

Question 11 - March 18, 2002 - Kelly from AZ asked, "Sergei, in your article, "No More Dreams No More" you stated at the end, 'I wish she could get one more dream and I hope I can give it to her.' What dream are you trying to fulfill for Raychel?"

Response 11: After Raychel was killed I received a letter from her.  She left it to me when she died.  She said that the letter was for me only but since I said that on accident I should answer you about it.  Raychel wrote that I would get the letter if she was dead and if I was reading it she was.  She said that she did not think that she would live a long life but that did not matter to her.  She wanted to live forever.  She wanted to be burned into other people's memories so that no one could ever forget her.  So that is what I meant.  Raychel had a dream to be remembered forever.  I got on the site so that I could help her be remembered.  That is how I can give her that last dream.
