Ask Sharon a Question

Sharon's Q&A Responses

1 - What do you do for a living?

I am a professional bodyguard.  Currently between assignments.

2 - How did you know Raychel?

I was the bodyguard for Raychel Taurus from December 25, 1999 until she died on August 17, 2000.  Yes, you read that correctly, December 25.  I was a Christmas present.

3 - When did you first meet Raychel?

I first saw Raychel on Christmas but we first met on December 31st of 1999.

4 - What one word best describes Raychel for you and why?

Dangerous.  Because she was.  Both to herself and to others.

5 - What one thing would you have changed about Raychel and why?

I wished she would have cut back on her love for danger.  Raychel enjoyed tempting fate in numerous ways.  It made my job harder and I believe it got her killed.

6 - How did Raychel affect your life?

After living with Raychel, I think I trust other people less.  When I first started working with Raychel, she told me about all of her friends.  She had them each pegged by their weaknesses -- what drove each of them and how to use it to hurt them.  She also knew which of her friends weren't friends.  Unfortunately, one of them must have gotten too close at the wrong time.

7 - How did you affect Raychel's life?

I didn't.  Raychel would still be alive if I had.

8 - What is your best memory of Raychel?

The moment between us after I first defended her against a person.  A man stopped her while she was walking down the street.  She knew him, but obviously didn't want to talk to him.  He wouldn't let her get away.  So the moment he put a hand on her, I stepped in.  I removed the guy's arm from Raychel's shoulder by putting him into a quick hammerlock and ramming him into the side of a building.  I gently informed him that assault is defined by law as "unwanted touching" and he had just engaged in an act of assault.  I informed him that I was employed to prevent such acts of assault.  In fact, I was allowed to carry a firearm to defend Ms. Taurus; however, I always preferred to use my hands, as they were more efficient.  Raychel told the guy to leave her alone, and to stop harassing her.  She asked me to let him go and I did.  As we watched Lance Wagner stumble off down the street, Raychel and I shared one of the few smiles we ever had together.

9 - What would you do or say if you could bring Raychel back?

I would say, "Now will you listen to me?"

10 - Who do you feel is most responsible for Raychel's passing?

Whoever killed her!
