Ask Geoffrey a Question

Geoffrey's Q&A Responses

1 - What do you do for a living?

I am a freelance music producer.  However, that freedom has been curtailed as I am currently under contract with Cain International's Terror Trax recording label.  Despite the best efforts of Ken Kincaid and Kyle McAllister, I am still very much in-demand.

2 - How did you know Raychel?

I produced Raychel's recording from February of 2000 until her death that August.  I know that contradicts other people's statements; however, they have not read my contract.  Technically, I run the company with Ken Kincaid's assistance.  Although his "assistance" has left something to be desired of late.

3 - When did you first meet Raychel?

I met Raychel in December of 1999 at a party held by Laura Douglass, who happens to be a longtime friend of mine.  Raychel and I got along famously.  We spent the whole night together talking.  I thought she was terrific.  I didn't know that Raychel was in the music business until the next day when Laura told me that Raychel had a record deal with Terror Trax.

4 - What one word best describes Raychel for you and why?

Fascinating.  People have a tendency to bore me, but Raychel was altogether different.

5 - What one thing would you have changed about Raychel and why?

Kyle McAllister.  He was a destructive and controlling force in her life.  I believe that this pattern of man in her life was established by her father.  When I told her about my theory, Raychel laughed.

6 - How did Raychel affect your life?

By not facing down Kyle McAllister during the recording process, Raychel brought my career to a screeching halt.

7 - How did you affect Raychel's life?

Had I, the above answer would be different.

8 - What is your best memory of Raychel?

The first time I heard Raychel sing.  From that moment, I knew I had to be the one to record her.  No one else could do for her voice that I could.  Musically, we were built for each other.

9 - What would you do or say if you could bring Raychel back?

I would have Ken Kincaid fired from Terror Trax.  I might do it anyway.

10 - Who do you feel is most responsible for Raychel's passing?

While Kyle McAllister was a brutal person for Raychel to forge an alliance, I believe that Ken Kincaid is a far more dangerous person.  That is not to say that I believe he murdered Raychel.  I don't feel that he has the fortitude to do anything for himself.
