Ask Kyle a Question

Kyle's Q&A Responses

Kyle's Responses to The 10 Questions

I am the last major contributor to this site.  Judging from the Memories, responses to The 10 Questions, and Q&A Responses already on the Painseeker web site, I chose my position wisely after Ken Kincaid's storming of Lance Wagner's precious Bastille allowed any of us to contribute to the site.  I assume that this minor revelation has stirred a simple question in you.

Why have I waited so long to write an article for Painseeker?  After all, a number of people consider me to be the person who murdered Raychel Vanderhoff.  Wouldn't I want to defend myself immediately against those who have accused me?

I guess I have more in common with David Vanderhoff than many of the others who have written material here.  I don't trust much that has been written here.  I don't believe that this site is a memorial site for Raychel.  Painseeker is an online lynching by Lance Wagner and I'm the one being lynched.  I am being burned in effigy by "those who knew her best":  Lance Wagner, Laura Douglass, Ken Kincaid, and Geoffrey MacIntyre.  I do not believe that the other contributors have done this intentionally, but they have validated this web site by participating in this site.

Why then have I contributed to this site at all?  If I know this site is biased, why should I validate it further by adding my own perspective?  Simple.  My personal character has already been assassinated by Lance and the others.  Why shouldn't I respond?  Why did I wait until the end to respond?  After Lance and Laura started firing on me, I thought it best to wait until everyone had at least one shot at me before firing back on my own.  What further harm could be done to me after Lance and Laura had their turns at me?  Answer: Not much.

I know that Lance had his own fun with me by prematurely adding my name to the Questions and Answers Form.  I understand why, after the submissions of others on this site, people might have questions ready to fire at me.  By having others submit questions to me before my own material came, I would be placed on the immediate defense.  However, his plan backfired as no one took him up on his offer.

That is not to say that I haven't already had my share of fun on the site. I admit that I hacked into this site in March to post a nasty poem (which was written by Lance Wagner himself) in the Poetry section.  When he found it and posted his own warning, I decided to lie low until I had a valid opportunity to state my case.  At the time, I just wanted to get his attention.  Maybe it was wrong, but I accept any blame you wish to award me.

"I don't fear any retribution from those who would slander me here.  They have already taken their best shots at me and (if you are reading this with an open mind) they have failed."

I'm not in this site for self-glorification anyway.  I assume that immediately separates me from many of those who have previously submitted material here.  Many of them will never be known now that Raychel is dead.  This is their last stab at glory.

This is not to say that those friends ever had any good intentions for Raychel. Most of them tried to keep her under their control.  That was why her "friends" kept her addicted to drugs, put her under contract, or "married" her (without proof I may add).  If I have the opportunity in the future, I will let you know their secrets.  I hope that causes some nervous phone calls over the next few weeks.

I don't fear any retribution from those who would slander me here.  They have already taken their best shots at me and (if you are reading this with an open mind) they have failed.

If you have already read material here, I assume you know that I "kidnapped" Raychel Vanderhoff.  I admit to the act, if not the characterization of the effort.  I believe many of you can already guess why I acted in such a manner, but I will wait to tell you in my own words (it requires more text than I am able to provide this week).  After you know why I did this, I believe you will understand my motivations better.

I refuse to remain Lance's straw man, waiting to be burned in effigy, so I have agreed to submit my own material to this web site despite the fact that it is biased against me.  I have my own plans for this web site anyway.  Hopefully you will help me get my story out, and we will all find out what happened to Raychel.  If Lance wants to turn this site into a memorial after that, he has my blessing.  He also has my skepticism, as I believe he has not yet shown his true agenda for this site.  What his real intentions are, I can only guess.

In the meantime, I must concentrate on my own agenda: The Truth.

Next week I will give you my account of the night of Raychel's murder.  Then you will know what I know.  I hope that will start us out on the right foot together.
