I had two jobs on the day Raychel was murdered. One was to clean Terror Trax. The other job was to keep Mr. MacIntyre away from Studio 4. I had done these jobs for three weeks already but this day I only did one job well. It was the wrong one.

I came to work early that day like I had since Mr. Kincaid asked me to help him. We both knew what he did each day. I needed to be sure that he did not do anything new. If something new happened, I needed to talk to Mr. Kincaid so he could tell Raychel what to do.

At 7:00 in the morning, Mr. MacIntyre came and walked in and out of all of the working studios. I said hello to him like I always did. Ken told me to do it every day. He said that if he got to know me, then I would be able to stop him when I needed to. At 7:15 he went into the elevator. I knew he would not come down for the rest of the day. If he did, it was because there was a problem and Mr. Kincaid said I should deal with it.

Just before noon I went to clean Mr. MacIntyre’s office. Before I started helping Raychel, I would wait to clean his office until he left. Now I went in while he was there so that he would leave. I always vacuumed his office to make sure he would go. As soon as he left, I went down the elevator and opened the back door so that Raychel and Mr. McAllister could get in. I let them in after making sure that no one Mr. MacIntyre knew was in the hallway. If someone who liked Mr. MacIntyre found out about Raychel being back in the studio, that person would tell Mr. MacIntyre so I needed to know that did not happen. It did not so I let them into Studio 4.

If it was the same as the other days there was nothing else to do. Mr. Kincaid made sure that Mr. MacIntyre left at the end of the day, he would tell me, I would tell Raychel and Mr. McAllister, and I could go home when my job was done at 7:00. But that day was not the same.

It was 6:30 when Mr. MacIntyre came out of the elevator and began walking to Studio 4. I was scared because I could see the look on his face. I tried to talk to him but he grabbed me and pushed me into a wall. He asked me who was in Studio 4 and told me that he would fire me if I did not answer him. I told him that there was they were gone now. When I said that, he let go of me and ran into Studio 4.

After I saw how angry Mr. MacIntyre and Mr. McAllister were, I knew what I had to do. I ran back to the elevator and went up to the offices and told Mr. Kincaid about the fight. He asked me if I thought they would start punching each other. I told him that if we stayed away someone was going to get hurt there. Mr. Kincaid got up and asked me to come with him to help stop their yelling. I did not want to go but he told me that it would be for the best so I went down with him. I thought of Raychel in the room and I knew I had to go down. When we went inside Studio 4 Mr. Kincaid tried to calm down Mr. MacIntyre but he was so angry he started firing everyone. Even me. That was when I left the studio.

The fight ended around 7:00 and I went with Mr. Kincaid to his office. I told him I had to quit Terror Trax. Mr. Kincaid did not want me to quit but I told him that Mr. MacIntyre would make trouble for me that I did not want. He understood and told me he would find new work for me because I was a good person. I thanked him but told him that I was the reason Mr. MacIntyre found out about Studio 4. For that I felt bad. I told him I wished I could talk to Raychel and Mr. McAllister and let them know I was sorry for not stopping Mr. MacIntyre. Mr. Kincaid said that it would be nice because I would not get to see them much if I did not work at Terror Trax anymore. I asked him if he knew where I could find them and he gave me the address to their apartment. I left work for the last time at maybe 7:30.

"She said that she had made a lot of mistakes in her life. . .  She said that there were too many people to ask forgiveness of everyone so she needed one person who understood that she was sorry."

It took me some time to find their apartment and when I got there I almost got into a car accident. A mean black car came out of the parking lot when I came in and just missed hitting me and my car. I parked and went up to the apartment and knocked on the door. Mr. McAllister was not there but Raychel was.

I told her I was sorry about what happened. She said it was going to happen sometime but I did not make it bad. Mr. McAllister made it bad by fighting with Mr. MacIntyre. I told her I was quitting Terror Trax because of Mr. MacIntyre and that made her sad. I went to leave but she did not want me to go. She asked me if I wanted to talk about music some so we did.

There was a time when she went quiet. I asked her what was wrong. She asked me if I believed in fate, that everything that was going to happen would happen no matter what we did. I told her I did not. She said that she did not either and began to cry. I went to her and she hugged me and kept crying. She said that she had made a lot of mistakes in her life. She asked me to forgive her. I told her that she had never done anything bad to me. She said that she still needed someone to forgive her, even if I was not the one. She said that there were too many people to ask forgiveness of everyone so she needed one person who understood that she was sorry. When I asked her what she did wrong, she said that was not important. She said that she had confessed everything to someone else recently but now she needed someone closer to her to forgive her. I could not say no to her. I forgave her even though I did not know what for. She smiled, kissed me on the cheek, and said thank you.

I got up and told her that I had to leave and she stopped me. She asked me what I was going to do. I told her that Mr. Kincaid was getting me another job. She told me that I should come around more often. She asked me for my phone number so she could tell me where she was going next. She said that she and Mr. McAllister had a fight and that she needed to get away from him for good now. She asked me what I thought of Mr. MacIntyre as a man. I said I did not like him since he made me have to quit my job. She said that he cared about her and that she thought she would be treated better by him than by Mr. McAllister. I told her she deserved better than both of them. She laughed and I left.

That was the last time I saw her alive.
