On December 6, 2001 I received a theory from Monroe in Huntington Beach, CA. It was detailed and interested me; however, it lacked a certain degree of evidence which I felt was required to proceed further. On December 28, 2001 Monroe followed up that theory with an enhanced and more detailed theory. I believed that it had enough credibility to warrant my discussing it further with Detective Wakefield of the Homicide Division of the Los Angeles Police Department. After informing him of the details of the case, he thanked me and proceeded to carry out an arrest warrant on Laura Douglass and Sharon Wolfe for the murder of Raychel Taurus.
Rather than re-state the theory, I recommend that you read both the first theory by Monroe and the updated theory which included Sharon Wolfe as an additional participant.
Today I spoke with Lance Wagner about the status of the case. While I believe that my work here is most likely done, he has asked me to stay on the case for two reasons. First, he wanted me to continue to look into the case for further evidence of Laura and Sharon's guilt. He stated that the police had previously shown no interest in solving the case and he wanted to ensure an active prosecution of the case. Second, he said that he wanted me to continue maintaining this Evidence section so that he would be able to concentrate his efforts on Raychel's life instead of her death. As he has paid me for another three months of service in advance, I have accepted his offer.
At this time I must admit to a sense of awkwardness about my current situation. I was originally hired by Laura Douglass to look into the case, and now I find myself assisting in the prosecution of the case against her. I would feel less than human if I did not admit that I have a doubt that a person would hire me just to find that same person guilty of a capital crime; however, the case against Laura and Sharon is persuasive.
I look forward to continuing my prosecution of this case.
