Lance Wagner

He stabbed her repeatedly with glass.

Lance couldn't write without Raychel. He had to constantly reconstruct Raychel in his mind to fit what his image of her was. He made her out to be an "angel." She was his muse, and I believe she thought he was too soft. He wanted her dependent and needy.

He broke into the apartment before. He lurked. He was a thwarted man. He says he was writing all night...he could have easily slipped over to the apartment and killed her. The police didn't consider him a suspect, so he had plenty of time to get rid of any bloody clothing.

I also distrust Lance Wagner, but I doubt that he would kill her to make her dependent and needy. I also wonder if he would kill her if she truly was his muse. At this time, I doubt we have enough hard evidence to prove his guilt in court. Also, if the police did not discover any evidence of a break-in, I am suspicious of any scenario where the killer entered the apartment by picking the lock. Personally I believe that the killer was invited into the apartment and unless evidence is found to contradict that point, I will remain doubtful that Lance's previous experience breaking into the apartment plays into this crime. The rest of your proof is good evidence, but is too circumstantial to prove "beyond reasonable doubt."
